Confusion, then anger darkened her blue eyes. “So, I’m good enough to use when it’s convenient for you?”

Jett wanted to shout a denial at the top of his lungs for all to hear, but he’d made his decision. Roxanne deserved better. He crossed his arms over his chest. Time to be a dickhead. “It sinking in yet, sweetheart?”

    Okay, so I had to unglue my eyes from the screen before I read the excerpt. Love the pic!

    Excerpt is so sad on both ends; her for her broken heart and him for feeling he's not good enough. A great six! Hope it all works out. I look forward to reading this story.

    LOVE the snippet. I think his reasons make him a great hero, if he is acting like a dickhead. Means his heart's in the right place at least.
