SIX SENTENCE SUNDAY~16

Morning! It's time for some Six Sentence Sunday goodness! Thanks for stopping by to read my Six. Today's Six is the opening of a new short story I just started, tentatively titled "Decadent Medicine". So, let me know what you think! All comments are welcome and always appreciated! Uptight, Meagan Cleary's world is about to change...

Senior Clinical Manager of Peri Operative Services, Meagan Cleary placed the piece of paper that signified an end to an era on her desk. She smoothed the corners, taking in the news. Words like “dissolution of marriage” blurred on the page as tears filled her eyes. Joy and jubilation pervaded every pore.

She was free. Free of the asshole that had made her life a living hell for the last ten years. The cinder block of misery and dissatisfaction that had weighed her down lifted.

Now that you've read my opening...stop by www.sixsunday.blogspot.com to see what my fellow SSS authors are writing! Enjoy your holiday weekend!

Love the opening lines! Just a word of caution though...posting breathtaking pictures like the one you have at the top of the page could be a distraction! RAWR!
