CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT~DAMON DOUGAN OF THE DOUBLE D RANCH TALES~

The name is Damon Dougan, and I’m from Nevada.  You see, about a year ago this author by the name of RM Sotera started this little project with an author friend of hers, CR Moss.  Actually, let me step back for a moment, all the kudos needs to go to another entity by the name of Styxx that whispered my existence into the ear of Sotera.  She refers to him as her muse.  I refer to him as a little scary, but hey that’s a story for another time.

My brother Dakota and I own a ranch on the outskirts of Las Vegas.  It’s a family owned ranch and has been passed down from generation to generation.  Let me stop here and take a breath, simply because when I start to think about what I’d like to say next my internal temperature goes haywire.  Yes, I’m talking about the day I met Bristol Ashcrombe.  Since that day, and that woman, my life has never been the same.  I never knew a woman – a little darlin’ like Bristol – could set my blood on fire the way she does.  I mean I’ve had my share of women – some good for me, but most very bad for me, yet when she walked onto the Dougan ranch with her fancy clothes and impractical shoes, I lost all commonsense.  I was hers from the moment she asked me to carry her bags, and even after she’d assumed I was the hired help I still stood there with my mouth dropped open when she insulted me with a barrage of crass remarks.

So here we are – Moss and Sotera wrote a second book about us (it’s smokin’ too) and our lives just keep getter better and better on the ranch.  I’d love for you to visit the Dougan Ranch soon!  Come on…you know you want to spend some time with this cowboy.
