Happy Sunday! It's that time again...

Sexy Snippets are seven sentences, taken from a work in progress, or published book, brought to you every Sunday.

Things are about to get real busy in the emergency room! Here's my snippet from my latest release, Sex Is The Best Medicine. It's a bit over the 7 because there's no way to edit a helicopter patch report via radio so forgive me...Thought I'd share a pic of the helicopter I  fly in. She's a Beauty! This was on a scene call where we had landed in the Grand Canyon!

“Copy that, Phoenix General. We are in bound with a 45-year old male involved in a roll over MVC. He’s currently sedated, intubated with fluids wide open. Head trauma visible. Right pupil blown. No breath sounds on right. Needle decompression performed several times. Possible pelvic fracture, open tib fib fracture. He’s on a fentanyl, versed, and norepinephrine drips. Last set of vital signs heart rate 135, respiratory rate 32, blood pressure 88/44, oxygen sats 89% on a 100% oxygen and end tidal CO2 25. ETA 15 minutes. Any questions?”

“Copy that, Life Flight One. No, no questions. Fly safe and we will be ready for you guys when you get here. Phoenix General out.” Kate placed the receiver back in its cradle and activated the trauma team.

That's all for now! If you want to learn more here's the blurb:

When adventurous and sexy becomes the most thrilling dare of all...

Conservative psychiatrist, Grant Anderson plays by the rules, believing he's in complete control of his own deep, dark compulsions. Just on the brink of making a life-altering decision, a minor accident lands him in the emergency room. Encountering the irresistible and outrageous Kate Sumner changes everything for the stuffy psychiatrist. Suddenly, the fun-loving, adventure-seeking nurse tempts Grant in ways he's never known, daring him to forgo all inhibitions and expectations. Will the doctor learn that pleasure is the world's best medicine?

Have a great Sunday!

I want a ride in that helicopter! But not as a trauma victim.
Don't want to be him right now. He sounds seriously hurt.

Thanks Elyzabeth! I love my job as a flight nurse, especially when we fly into the Grand Canyon! The views are spectacular!

Hi Doris! I was flying airplane and helicopter both, but now only on the helicopter. It's a lot of hard work and training!
